| The Ozark Dutch Oven Society will hold the 3rd Annual Missouri State Dutch Oven Championship on Sept 10, 2016, at 7Cs Winery, 502 E 560th Rd., Walnut Grove. Admission is free for spectators who are asked to bring a non-perishable food item for the Ash Grove Food Pantry.
Cooking starts at 10 a.m. and judging at 2 p.m. Rusty Rose will provide music from noon- 4 p.m. Public tasting will be available after the judging at 2 p.m. Proceeds of the event go to support the Walnut Grove Food Backpack Program.
This is an IDOS Sanctioned event and is open to all Dutch oven cooks. Adult division entry is $25 and is a 3 pot cook; entre, dessert and bread. The Youth division is free and is a 2 pot cook; entre and dessert.
